We’re back to the barn to show you this cutie little bathroom! Like the kitchen, this bathroom brings both style and functionality to this barn-turned-guest space. I chose 12 x 24 tiles and asked the tile installer to cut them down to a smaller size. It’s amazing the difference a detail like this makes. If you’re always looking for the paint color like me, I gotchu. The custom vanity is none other than…….Revere Pewter and it’s beautiful!

It might be a controversial statement, but I say always ALWAYS tile the ceiling of a shower .

Why? For starters, it’s beautiful and creates a polished, intentional design. But for you practical, functional folks, I learned many years ago that bathrooms are a breeding ground for mold, especially those without much natural light and it’s a lot easier to clean mold off of tile than drywall.

We went with polished nickel everywhere except the mirror.

The design process of a small space like this takes time, lots of time! And I’m not above driving over to the job site to hold up some art to make sure it’s the one.

Behind the scenes….It takes a lot of really good trades to pull off a really good project. I’ve used this Zellige dupe in several projects and every time it turns out 👌🏻 Bonus! Use code “jessica15” for 15% off.

So what started as one big unfinished space in a barn is now a complete apartment for out of town guests.
