25:40 love was pleased to partner with Mercy Childcare Ministry by donating a portion of our proceeds to this life-changing organization.

Mercy Childcare Ministry was founded by Pastor Wilfred Blair Rugumba and Pastor Wilson Bugembe in Uganda in 2002. This work was inspired by Pastor Wilson’s life story; having lost both his parents to AIDS, he ended up living on the streets of Kampala. He faced mistreatment from his grandparents and then met a good Samaritan on the streets who took him into his home and educated him.

In response to the overwhelming numbers of street children, orphans and abandoned babies being brought to Pastors Wilfred and Wilson for help, they opened their single-roomed house (10x8ft) for such children. At the time, they were still in high school. Since that time, they have continued taking in children, doing what they can for each individual and their family as the Lord allows them. Through rescue, rehabilitation, reconciliation and restoration, Mercy Childcare Ministry is truly serving the least of these (Matthew 25:40).
